The super power Bryce Gruber was a pleasure to photograph. She showed up in a fabulous 50's hair-do or was it what reminded me of the Andrew Sisters.

Super posh and sophisticated, the stylist, Aidyn Crowe did Ms. Gruber perfect, enveloping her is a weighty wool dress that looked as light as a feather upon the svelte new mother of the Ben!

When team Lush Life arrived, we scoped out the joint and found a great wood wall. In front of the backdrop, Ms. Gruber appeared to be a precious debutante waiting for the right taker at the ball. Other moments, she struck me as the self-assured Joan Crawford in a film noir, without the bitchiness. Bryce is a kind and giving person. You can see it though the eyes of her fellow workers at the Luxury Spot!

Pride Night at Angels & Kings NYC!

Red Ruby Photography my new Gay, Lesbian, Transgender, and Bisexual event photo business proved to be another great success the night of PRIDE.

Women were everywhere and finally, we made the choice of what images to choose to put up on the blog.

I am also proud to announce, Lush Life Photography for everyone else. We do weddings, private parties and all that fun stuff for both businesses. The website will be up and going to full force speed ahead soon.

A Belly Dancer Comes Into My Apartment And Teaches Us a Thing or Two!

Emeline Lavender is tall and slender...she is not what I had considered to be the classic belly dancer.

The other night she came over and doused my aubergine camel back sofa with grace and splendor.

"Can you show us how an Egyptian dancer moves?", I asked with trepidation

And then wow, you never saw three women smile so, much at hip shaking and body parts moving alone, seemingly unattached to the rest of her body. No, Uma Thurman in "Pulp Fiction" doing the cat eyes and being sexy. This is about the process of life, love, and death.

Enjoy...we did!

We had a blast out in Dumbo at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn. Not only an art space but a venue for weddings which support the artists that perform there. This wedding party was funky and a super blast to work with in front of the PHOTO BOOTH curtain. When I did my photo dance in front of the camera, they got down and put on a fab show for the camera.

I thought I was in a New Wave fiesta when the DJ played the Go Go's.

Liam and Heather...the stunning couple above are the perfect loving couple. Heather a Neo-Grecian Goddess and Liam a gentleman with luscious eye lashes.

This is one of many weddings where spontaneity and planning the Lush Life Photography work perfectly together.

MEETBALL DINNER

Portraits taken at the Van Vorst Meetball Dinner in Jersey City

We couldn't have been more happy to share our photo booth style of photography with the guests for the Van Vorst Association in downtown Jersey City. I also had the opportunity to run around and document the very neighborly social event during dinner and for desert.

I was happy to be apart of the event since I live in this glorious neighborhood and for the association named after the beautiful Van Vorst Park filled with many types of thriving flora. And home of the doggie play run where both my dogs Howard and Moishe indulge in romps with other dogs in the hood.

Make your way out to Jersey City and you will find a solid and caring community. We thank them again for making us a part of this lovely event!
